Personal opinion of Shinya :

I admit at first I liked Shinya because of his appearance, but unlike most, I could only see the man part of his looks; he was never 'girly' to me even in full costume. The power he wields behind his drum set was breathtaking. I'd even say he has surpassed his hero, Yoshiki, by pure power and speed alone. He has come a long way since his La sadies, and MISSA period. His song writing ability has also improved since his early days. Umbrella being by far one of his best works.
